Men's Cross Country Runs at the Cavalier Open

EARLYSVILLE, Va. - George Mason's men's cross country team ran in its final meet of the season prior to championship competition on Saturday, competing at the Cavalier Open at Panorama Farms in Earlysville, Va.

Chris Palmer was the Patriots' top finisher, placing 28th with a time of 28:08.10. Jon Laude finished 29th with a time of 28:11.70. Todd McDaniel crossed the finish line in 32nd place with a time of 28:49.40 while Ryan Miller finished 33rd with a time of 29:18.90.

Tristan Colangelo, an unattached runner, won the meet with a time of 24:09.10. William & Mary's Colin Leak was the top collegiate finisher, crossing the finish line third with a time of 24:58.90.

Mason's men's cross country team will compete again on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
