(April 5, 2005) The men's tennis moved the away match from Maryland-Baltimore County to Fairfax, but couldn't take advantage of the home court, losing 7-0 to the Retrievers. Mason is looking for their first win of the season, 0-5.

The Retrievers swept the doubles matches for the first point of the day. In singles action, Maryland-Baltimore County easily handled the Mason netters in all but the No. 2 singles. The Patriots senior Tim Bainton battled Irfan Shamasdin to a tie-breaker in the first set, but eventually lost 7-6(7-5) and lost the second set 6-2.

Mason is in action tomorrow, hosting Howard University.
