BUIES CREEK, N.C. - George Mason won nine of the 10 matches to take a 49-4 decision over Campbell in Colonial Athletic Association wrestling action Friday night at Carter Gym.

George Mason (7-6, 4-3 CAA) won four bouts by fall, three more by tech fall and one by major decision. Patriot sophomores Harry Zander (197, National Park, N.J.), Ryan Kittrick (HWT, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.), and Robert Henry (149, Dumfries, Va.) along with freshman Randy Oates (165, Owings, Md.) each won their matches by fall.

Mason sophomore David Emison (133, Stafford, Va.), freshman Jay Chichester (141, Falmouth, Va.) and sophomore Mitch Webster (157, Towanda, Pa.) took their bouts by technical fall for the Patriots.

Campbell's only win came in the 184-pound match as Lantz Nixon earned a 13-4 major decision victory over sophomore Matt Horton (Annandale, Va.. The win came in the final bout at Carter Gym for Nixon, a senior from Akron, Ohio.

George Mason is next in action at Maryland on Friday, February 18 at 7:30 p.m.
