Fairfax, Va.--Junior John Appleman (Fairfax, Va.) was named Colonial Athletic Association Male Diver of the Week for his efforts against James Madison this past weekend. This is Mason's second-straight league honor as senior Mary Campioli (Falls Church, Va.) was tabbed female diver of the week on Jan. 18.

Appleman won both diving events to help the Patriots defeat JMU on Jan. 22 by a score of 144-99. Appleman amassed a score of 263.25 in the 1-meter event and went on to score 246.00 in the 3-meter. Appleman and the Patriots finished the 2004-05 season with a perfect 7-0 mark in regular conference season dual meets.

The Patriots will return to action when both teams host George Washington on Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.
