Cavanagh again paced the Patriots with a two-under par 70; Desimone improved his score from the first day by two strokes, shooting a one-under par 71. Teammate Daniel Hurley was impressive as well on the second day as he also recorded a one-under par 71. Cavanagh's 139 placed him in second for the tournament, one stroke off of first place, and a third-best 36-hole total in Mason history.

Rutgers University held on to their lead from the first day shooting a three-over par 291 on Sunday, enough for them to defeat the Patriots by one stroke and win the Elon/Sea Trail Intercollegiate Tournament.

In the individual results for the tournament Michael Kosup of Rutgers University was the overall winner with a six-under par 138. Kosup was able to overcome Jacksonville University's Duncan Stewart who was the individual leader after day one, with a four-under par 68, but shot a one-over par 73 on the final day, earning him a third place finish.
