The George Mason men's cross country team competed at James Madison University this weekend and the Patriots finished ninth with three runners finishing in fewer than 30 minutes.
Dennis Moriarty was the team's top finisher with a time of 28:26.96. He was the 48th runner to cross the line. Ricardo Cunningham followed Moriarty by finishing 52nd with a time of 28:50.09. Ben Sommers was the other Patriot to break 30 minutes as he finished 66th with a time of 29:49.65.
Charles Bowles was the fourth-place finisher for the Patriots with a time of 31:06.21. He was 73rd. Paul Gilbride was 81st with a time of 32:43.44.
