Golf Classic to Benefit Baseball Team

The George Mason baseball team will host the 4th Annual George Mason Baseball Golf Classic next month at the Fairfax National Golf Club. All proceeds from the October 15 tournament will benefit the Mason baseball program. Awards will be given out for top three foursomes as well as for longest drive and closest to pin. The cost to play in the classic is $100 per person, $400 per foursome. The entry includes range balls, golf cart, green fees, souvenir gift, raffle tickets, awards, beverages and a cookout lunch. Registration will take from 10:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. A box lunch will be provided at that time. At Noon, there will be a shotgun start. The Fairfax National Golf Club is located at 16850 Sudley Road in Centreville. Soft spikes are required to play. Entries must be made by October 11.
