Craw Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District III Honors

Fairfax, Va.--George Mason University senior diver Ashley Craw (Nashville, Tenn.) earned a spot on the 2004 CoSIDA Academic All-District III University Women's At-Large Second Team for her efforts during the 2003-04 campaign. The voting was done by members of the College Sports Information Director's of America (CoSIDA) in the District III area.

Craw graduated from Mason with a cumulative GPA of 3.991 in International Studies. For all eight semesters Craw was a University Scholar-Athlete, on the dean's list and on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. In addition, Craw received CAA Commissioner's Academic Award for the 2003-04 year. She placed third at the Colonial Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships in the 3-meter dive event and fourth in the one-meter this past season and also made her fourth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Zone Championships.

The Patriots closed out the regular season with a 7-3 overall dual record and claimed their third consecutive CAA Championship title for women's swimming and diving in February 2004.
