George Mason junior first baseman Chris Looze had a stellar five games last week and it didn't go unnoticed as he was tabbed the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week for the week ending May 2.
Looze batted .550 on the week, hit four home runs and drove in 14 runs. He also scored six times and slugged 1.250. He was 2 for 4 in each of George Mason's CAA games last week at Towson. He hit two homers in that series and had seven RBI. Against Navy, he was 4 for 5 with five RBI against Navy.
Looze is batting .360 this season with 13 homers and 63 RBI. He raised his average .25 last week. He, and the Patriots, take the field on Tuesday when they host George Washington at Spuhler Field at 3 p.m.
