George Mason junior first baseman Chris Looze was named CAA Player of the Week on Monday and on Wednesday, one more accolade came his way as he was named the ECAC Division I Player of the Week.

Looze batted .500 (8 for 16) for the week with a homer and 10 RBI. He also scored five runs as the Patriots went 4-0. Looze had the game-winning hit in three of the four games and he scored the game-winning run in the fourth game. Most dramatic of his hits was a game-ending three-run homer against Old Dominion as the Patriots swept the Monarchs to move to 6-0 in CAA play this year.

Looze continued his hot play on Tuesday against University of Maryland-Baltimore COunty as he hit a home run and had four RBI.
