FAIRFAX, Va. - George Mason will be making its 11th straight Colonial Athletic Association Tournament appearance Saturday when the fourth-seeded Patriots take on top-seed James Madison at 12 p.m. at the JMU Lacrosse Complex in Harrisonburg, VA.

Also on Saturday, second-seeded Towson will face No. 3 William & Mary at 2:30 p.m. or approximately 45 minutes after the finish of the Patriots-Dukes matchup.

Madison, ranked eighth nationally in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) top 20 poll with a 12-3 record, needed overtime to defeat the Patriots in their last contest by a score of 9-8. Mason enters the contest as the 20th ranked team in the country with a 7-8 overall mark.

The Dukes earned the top seed and host for the tournament by going undefeated in the CAA at 7-0. Mason split its first four CAA contests to go to 2-2 and won two critical games over Drexel and Hofstra the weekend of Apr. 16-18 to secure a championship bid. The Patriots ended the regular season tied for third in the conference with William & Mary at 4-3, but was given the No. 4 seed after falling in the head-to-head match-up against the Tribe.
