FAIRFAX, Va. - George Mason University's women's lacrosse team moved up one spot to No. 19 in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) top 20 and Warrior/Inside Lacrosse polls, released Monday. It marks the third consecutive week the Patriots have been ranked in the top 20. Princeton continues to headline the rankings, followed Notre Dame and Loyola.

The Patriots split their two Colonial Athletic Association games last week, dropping a close 11-10 decision at #17 Towson and holding on to defeat Delaware, 10-9, in Newark. George Mason is now 4-5 overall and evens its league mark to 2-2.

Two players remain ranked in the latest NCAA statistics for all games played through April 11. Junior goalkeeper Meg Dentler (Crofton, MD/Arundel) is 14th in the nation in save percentage, stopping 55.7 percent of shots on goals. She has started every game in goal this season, making 122 saves, and owns an 10.78 goals-against average. Sophomore defender Michele Brady (Fairfax, VA/Paul VI) leads the team with 19 caused turnovers and is listed No. 6 nationally, averaging 2.11 per game. She paces a defensive unit that is ranked eighth in the nation in caused turnovers per game at 11.56 per contest.

George Mason visits No. 7 Virginia Wednesday at 4 p.m. in non-conference action. The Patriots return to league play Friday at home against Drexel at 7 p.m. and then host Hofstra Sunday at noon on "Senior Day."
