FAIFAX, Va. - The University of Oklahoma (12-2) men's tennis team defeated George Mason, 7-0, Thursday at Wakefield Park.

The Sooners won all six singles matches in straight sets, sweeping the Patriot netters. Tito Ballester lost to Marek Velicka, 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 1 Singles spot. All remaining matches were shut-outs.

The Patriots didn't find any consolation in the doubles matches as the Sooners swept all three matches. The No. 1 doubles team of Ballester and Bainton were defeated 8-1 by the team of Garrison and Fukala. The second Patriots doubles team of Garakani and Sirghii were blanked, 8-0. The Tanasoiu/Velicka team defeated O'Connor and Eric Vogel, 8-2.
