Mason failed to win a set in any of the matches, with the strongest showing from its No. 1 singles player senior Tito Ballester (Lima, Peru). Ballester was defeated by Navy's Ryan Osgood, 7-5, 6-0. Mason's No. 2 singles player Junior Tim Bainton (Chobham Surrey, UK) lost to Stanley Kahl, by the same score in two sets, 6-2, 6-2. The Patriots were no match for the other singles as Navy's Davy Lee defeated Oleg Sirghii, 6-2, 6-1 and Brandon Carter defeated Mason's Farshad Garakani, 6-1, 6-1. The tandem of Brendan O'Connor (Troy, NY/Troy) and Eric Vogel (Fairfax Station, VA/W.T. Woodson) lost the doubles match to the Midshipman's Haley Dodson and Matt Walton, 6-3, 6-3.
