Fairfax, Va.--Junior Tim Norton (Virginia Beach, Va.) was named CAA Male co-Swimmer of the Week for his efforts at the U.S. Open this past weekend in San Antonio, Texas. Norton shares the honor with Drexel's Sam Harris.

Norton placed in two events at the U.S. Open as he garnered a third place finish in the 400 individual medley (4:34.77) and a 12th place finish in the 200 IM (2:11.39). In the 400 IM, Norton finished behind 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist (200 IM) Ryan Locte (Florida) who won the event with a time of 4:29.95.

The Patriots will not return to action until January as Mason opens up 2005 with competition at the Keys Classic on Jan. 8.
