Members of the George Mason women's track and field team will be holding a four-hour clinic on January 8 at the George Mason Sports Recreation Complex (Fieldhouse) for youths age 10-17. The clinic will provide instruction in sprints, distance and long jump as well as event-appropriate conditioning.

Clinic instructors include Tiombe Hurd, the American record-holder in the triple jump and a volunteer coach at Mason; Angie Taylor, the head coach of the Mason women's team; Becky Hartley, a Mason volunteer coach; Jeff Washington, USA Level I lead instructor; and members of the Mason women's track and field team.

The clinic begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. Please download and fill out registration form (link is at the top of this story) and return by January 4. There will be no on-site registration.
