FAIRFAX, VA ... The George Mason University baseball schedule has changed radically for the upcoming week.
The time for the game scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, at Georgetown has changed to 2 p.m. from the original time of 7 p.m. The contest will still be played at Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda, MD.
The Patriots have added a game for Thursday, May 1, at George Washington at 3 p.m. The contest will be played at George Washington's home field at Barcroft Park in Arlington, VA.
The game at Coppin State on Saturday, May 3, which had been rescheduled from a snow-out on March 4, has been cancelled. It will not be rescheduled again.
The three-game Colonial Athletic Association series between the Patriots and Virginia Commonwealth in Richmond has also been changed. Originally set for a single game Sunday and a doubleheader Monday at The Diamond, the series has been rescheduled for a doubleheader on Sunday, May 4, beginning at 6 p.m. and a single game on Monday, May 5, at 1 p.m.
