HARRISONBURG, Va. - James Madison used a nine-run outburst in the fifth inning to pull away for a 15-4 Colonial Athletic Association baseball victory against visiting George Mason on a rainy Friday afternoon at Long Field.

Senior right-hander Chris Cochran (Reston, Va./South Lakes) won his eighth consecutive start to improve to 8-1 this season, surpassing his previous career high for victories in a season. He did give up 13 hits, but walked none and fanned six in eight innings. He's now 29-10 in his career with the Dukes.
