FAIRFAX, Va. - George Mason saw since two match win streak snapped after falling to area rival Georgetown, 6-1, Tuesday afternoon at the GMU Tennis Courts. The Patriots record falls to 3-6 on the season.
Junior Tito Ballester (Lima, Peru) was the lone Patriot to score in the match, winning 7-6(3), 6-0 over his opponent at No. 1 singles.
Georgetown swept doubles to earn the point.
The Patriots play two Colonial Athletic Association matches to finish off the week as the team visits archrival James Madison Friday at 2:30 p.m. before hosting UNC Wilmington Saturday at 10 a.m.
