FAIRFAX, VA ... The George Mason University baseball team has changed its schedule for this weekend, but will still play three games at Raymond H. "Hap" Spuhler Field.

The series with Indiana set for March 7-9 has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Cornell, however, will come to Spuhler Field for three games Saturday and Sunday. The Patriots and Big Red will meet in a single game Saturday at 2 p.m. and in a doubleheader Sunday at 12 p.m.

Due to the heavy snowfall over the past three weeks in the Mid-Atlantic area, George Mason has been unable to get outdoors during a 12-day layoff since a 9-5 loss at the College of Charleston on Feb. 23. The Patriots take a 1-4 overall record into Saturday's contest with Cornell, which will open its season. Senior left-hander John Sterling is to be on the mound for Mason Saturday, while sophomore left-hander Jake Glanzmann and freshman right-hander Jason Mills are the scheduled starters for Sunday.
