The loss, which snaps Mason's five-game win streak in home openers, puts the Patriots record at 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the CAA. With the win, the Pride evens its mark at 2-2 and earns its first CAA victory (1-0). The Patriots home opener was played under the lights for the first time at GMU Stadium.
