Morgan Gott begins her first year as an assistant coach at George Mason in the fall of 2018.
The former Coastal Carolina midfielder comes to Mason with two years of coaching experience since graduating from Coastal Carolina in 2016.
She made stops at Division III schools Mary Washington and Roanoke College. This past spring at Mary Washington, she worked with the draw specialists and oversaw the defense as the Eagles recorded 17 wins and reached the NCAA Regional Semifinal. At Roanoke College in 2017, she also coached the defense and mentored the draw specialists.
In addition, she was the head coach of the Midwestern Force during the 2016-17 school year and has coached at the club level.
Gott was a four-year letterwinner at Coastal Carolina, playing in 61 games as a midfielder for the Chanticleers. The Georgetown, Mass., native, graduated from Coastal Carolina in August 2016 with her degree in management.
