James Quinn-Irons has been named one of the 25 semifinalists for the 47th Golden Spikes Award, USA Baseball announced Sunday afternoon. Quinn-Irons is the first Golden Spikes Award semifinalist in George Mason baseball program history.  The award is given annually to the best amateur baseball player in the nation. With this nomination, Quinn-Irons becomes only the third Atlantic 10 player to be named a semifinalist
