Zahirah Walton was named Most Outstanding Player for the Patriots’ first ever Atlantic 10 Championship over the weekend. She averaged 16 points (shooting 46.2% from the floor and 50% from 3), 6.7 rebounds, and 3 assists over the Green & Gold’s three wins. Her consistent ability to score and get stops on defense helped give the Patriots the advantage they needed to lift the trophy and punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
