Autumn Martinez-Robinson was named A-10 Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week after a stellar performance last weekend at Davidson. Averaging 4.56 digs per set, the sophomore libero totaled 28 digs on Saturday, which is the second most digs in a single game in the A-10 this season. Martinez-Robinson has had double-digits digs in 15 of the Patriots 16 matches this season, including the last 14 consecutive matches. Her DPOTW selection is just the third time a George Mason women’s volleyball player has one it, and the first to win any A-10 weekly award since the 2020-21 season. The women’s volleyball team secured their first A-10 win of the season this past weekend with a win over Davidson.
