Over the two days at the Palmer Park Clash, hosted by UVA, the Corning, N.Y., native led Mason in batting average (7-for-14, .500), doubles (3), triples, (1) and RBI (6).

Her offense and clutch hits played a major role in the Patriots' wins over the weekend. In Saturday afternoon's game against Fairfield when the Patriots were down 5-7 in the top of the seventh inning, DeRosa hit a bases-clearing double that gave the Patriots the lead and eventually the win on the day. On Sunday's game against Saint Francis, the freshman hit two doubles totalling three RBI.
