Eastman ran her fastest ever 5k in the Colyear-Danville Invitational hosted by Boston University in 46th with a time of 16:11.03. This time crushed George Mason's indoor 5k record (that has held for over a decade) by 17 seconds and was even faster than her outdoor 5k personal record. She has the best 5k time in the A-10 this year.
