Donnelly won gold at the A-10 Championships in the 200-yard backstroke with an NCAA B qualifying time and won a total of four medals to help Mason capture its first ever A-10 league title. He also won gold with the 200-yard freestyle relay team and earned silver medals as part of the 400m and 800m freestyle relay teams.
