2015 Outdoor: Competed in six meets for the Patriots…Helped Mason to the Outdoor Atlantic 10 Title with a fifth place finish in the hammer throw and a sixth place finish in the discus…Set a personal record with a mark of 49.87m at the Larry Ellis Invite…Finished second in the hammer throw at the VCU Ram Invite.
2015 Indoor: Competed in the wright throw at five meets for the Patriots…Finished sixth in the weight throw at the Atlantic 10 Championships with a personal record mark of 15.04m…Finished fourth in the WT at the Father Diamond Invitational with a mark of 13.22m
2014 Outdoor: Competed in the discus, hammer and javelin...Finishing as high as first at the Colonial Relays...Set a PR in the discus (41.44m) with a seventh place finish in the A-10 Championships helping the Patriots to a conference title...Set a PR in the hammer at the MSU Legacy Track & Field Meet (44.89m) and in the javelin at the VCU Ram Invite (34.31m)
2014 Indoor: Competed in six meets for the Patriots finishing as high as fourth in the weight throw at the Patriot Games. At the A-10 championships, Muniz finished 13th overall in the weight thrown. She set a PR with a 13.84m throw at the Patriot Games.
2013 Outdoor: Finished in 17th place in the discus with a toss of 29.92m and 12th in the javelin with a throw of 29.67m at the CAA Championships ... threw a PR of 40.47m in the discus at the W&M Tribe Open (3/23) ... recorded a top distance of 32.54m in the javelin at the W&M Colonial Relays (4/6) ... top mark in the hammer throw, 37.36m, recorded at the Mason Spring Invitational (4/13).
2013 Indoor: Competed in the weight throw during first season with the Patriots ... top toss of 12.97m came at the Great Dane Classic on January 18.
High School: Earned four letters in track, four in basketball, two in soccer and one in volleyball at Parsippany Hills ... was a two-year captain for both the track and basketball teams ... two-time sectional champion in the discus ... also claimed a NJAC discus championship in 2012 and finished second in the Group 3 Championship ... was first team all-county in 2012 ... member of the National Honors Society and also served as treasurer ... earned a Morris County Scholar Athlete Award ... set personal bests in the javelin (118-0), discus (129-0) and shot put (34-1) as a senior.
Personal: Daughter of Brad Muniz and Diane Muniz ... has two siblings ... is a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient.
