FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason women's track and field freshman Vilde Vage Henriksen will represent her native country of Norway at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships, scheduled for July 8-11 at Kadriorg Stadium in Tallinn, Estonia. 
 
Vage Henriksen will compete in the first round of the 3000m steeplechase on Thursday, July 8. The event will be run in two heats with the first heat slated for 9:50 a.m. Eastern Time. The top five from each heat plus the next five fastest times move on to Saturday's final.
 
The Atlantic 10 All-Rookie selection earned a bronze medal in the event at the 2021 A-10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May. She ran a personal-best time of 10:28.88 – good for third in program history – to qualify for the European Championships.
