George Mason and James Madison meet for the second time this season on Tuesday. The Patriots won the first battle 8-5 in Fairfax where Saul Aguilera earned his first win of the year and Tyler Tobin made his third save.

Tuesday's game will be the fifth consecutive against a non-conference opponent for the Patriots. Mason fell to Towson last Tuesday and won two out of three games vs. Canisius over the weekend. Luke Willis and Brandon Gum are riding active 15-game hitting streaks into Tuesday as both are batting .360 or above and are third and fifth in the conference, respectively. Willis leads the conference in runs scored (40) and hits (59). Ryan Ricci is scheduled to make his third start of the season and comes in with no record and a 6.75 ERA,

James Madison has lost eight straight games after winning two in a row over Delaware two weekends ago. The Dukes are batting .256 as a team and are led by Ky Parrott who has the team-high in batting average, homeruns, RBI, slugging percentage and on-base percentage. Andrew Scarpelli will make his first start of the season and his 11th appearance with a 5.40 ERA and 20 walks in 15 innings pitched.
