NEWS & NOTES
Coming off a perfect homestand, the George Mason women's soccer team hits the road for a pair of Atlantic 10 Conference matches. The Patriots visit first Duquesne on Thursday at 7 p.m. followed by Davidson on Sunday at 2 p.m.

After nearly a month on the road, the Patriots returned home last weekend to welcome a pair of league foes, going 2-0 on the stretch. Mason opened the homestand defeating UMass in overtime action before blanking Saint Louis 1-0 on Sunday behind a goal from Emma Starr. Sarah Hardison leads the team with 18 points on eight goals and two assists. A total of seven different Patriots have scored this season.

Duquesne comes into Thursday's match having dropped three of its past four matches, most recently a 1-0 loss at Davidson. Duquesne's last win came at home against St. Bonaventure last Thursday. The Dukes are led by Katie O'Connor with 14 points on the season off a team-leading five goals and four assists.

Davidson travels to UMass on Thursday before welcoming Mason on Sunday. The Wildcats enter weekend action fresh off their first conference win of the season, defeating Duquesne on Sunday, snapping a three-game skid. Vicky Bruce leads the team with nine assists and 13 points. Ashley Finke netted her second game-winner of the season over the weekend and owns a team-best five goals.
