Freshman Kyle Hart and Zack Lauzon finished tied for 19th overall in the three-round tournament. Hart finished his scoring with a par 72 in the second and thirds rounds after begining the event with a 76. Lauzon recorded a two-over par 74 in the final round to finish with a 220(75-71-74).

The Missouri Tigers won the season-opening event by an impressive 27 strokes. This is the third time the Tigers have won the event, as they previously won in 2009 and 2012.
