The Women's tennis team hosted Bucknell on Friday on a cold blistery day. A combination of the weather and the Bison proved to be too much for the Patriots as they fell 2-4.

The Patriots won the first two points of the match. Ashley Delaney defeated Bush at No. 5 singles,6-2, 6-1, and Esu Erdenebat won against Schneider at No. 4, 6-3, 6-3. The Bison won the next two singles in two sets to even the score. The final matches at No. 1 and 2 singles went to the tiebreker set. Top singles Maya Hicks lost 10-8 in the tiebreaker to Vidrascu and Brittany Pilkington came up on the short end of the score, 10-7.

Mason drops to 5-8 on the season before heading south to play at Mount
St. Mary's on Saturday.
