FAIRFAX, Va. – For the second time this season, Ryan Mingachos netted two goals in one game.

On Monday, he was recognized for his most recent two-goal performance as the Atlantic 10 Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The midfielder scored twice in a 4-3 victory over Binghamton on Friday, including the game-winner in overtime.

Mingachos, a sophomore from Danbury, Conn., scored in the 98th minute from 15 yards out into the upper corner to lift the Patriots past Binghamton at George Mason Stadium. It was his second goal of the game as he scored in the 41st minute to give Mason a 2-1 halftime lead.

It marked his second game with multiple goals as he also scored twice in a 3-0 victory over American on Aug. 27. He is tied for the team lead with four goals and ranks second on the team with eight points.

The Patriots welcome in No. 14 West Virginia at 7 p.m. on Friday at George Mason Stadium.
