FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University men's basketball team (13-7, 3-4) wraps up a two-game series with Massachusetts (12-9, 2-6) Saturday afternoon inside the Mullins Center.
Tip-off between the Patriots and Minutemen is set for 1 p.m. Saturday's game will be streamed live and free of charge on Massachusetts' A-10 Digital Network feed. In addition, Bill Rohland will call the game on 106.7 FM and on the Mason A-10 Digital Network. Pre-game coverage begins at 12:45 p.m.
* Mason has won five of its first six road games for the first time in program history. The five road wins are the most by a Patriots team since 2012-13 (2-11 in 2015-16). The Patriots began the season 3-0 on the road for the first time since 1985-86.
* Mason is 7-2 combined in road and neutral site contests this season but just 6-5 in games played inside EagleBank Arena.
* Last time out, the Patriots dropped an 87-68 contest to GW Wednesday in Fairfax. For the second straight game at home, Mason struggled from the field in the first half, shooting 32.3 percent (10-31) while falling behind 35-24 at the break.

Otis Livingston II led Mason with 17 points (7-14 FG) on Wednesday. It marked his highest scoring output since the Jan. 4 game vs. the Minutemen (18 pts).

Marquise Moore posted his fifth-straight double-double and 13th overall this season with 15 points and 10 rebounds vs. the Colonials.
* On Monday, Moore was named the A-10 Player of the Week for the third time in seven weeks. He joins T.J. Cline (Richmond) as the only players to earn the honor three times this season.
* Moore is the top rebounding guard in the nation (10.9 rpg), is third in the country among all players in defensive rebounds/game (8.9), ninth in overall rebounding and is one of only 10 players nationally (and the only guard) with 13+ double-doubles.
* Freshman
Ian Boyd chipped in 12 points (5-8 FG) off the bench for Mason vs. GW. In league play, he is fifth on the team in scoring (7.1 ppg) and is shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.
* Sophomore
Jaire Grayer is seventh in the A-10 in blocked shots per game (1.2). He has scored 10+ points in five of seven A-10 games this season.
* The Patriots are in the midst of the stretch where they play five of seven games on the road (2-3 thus far).
HISTORY vs. MASSACHUSETTS
Saturday's game marks the sixth all-time meeting between UMass and George Mason in men's basketball. UMass leads the series 3-2 and has split a pair of all-time meetings with Mason at the Mullins Center. Mason won the first meeting this season (86-81) on Jan. 4 in Fairfax.

A LOOK AT THE MINUTEMEN (12-9, 2-6 A-10)
UMass was picked to finish 10th out of 14 teams in the 2016-17 Atlantic 10 preseason poll. The Minutemen posted a 10-3 non-conference record - highlighted by wins over Temple (70-67) and Harvard (70-66) - before dropping six of their first eight league contests. Massachusetts leads the conference in FG% defense (.392) and is second in 3pt FG% defense (.311) this season. Junior Donte Clark leads the team in scoring (13.4 ppg) and dishes out 2.9 assists per game. Freshman Luwane Pipkins chips in 10.7 ppg and averages 2.4 steals per contest. Senior center Rashaan Holloway leads the team in rebounding (6.0 rpg) and adds 11.3 points per game. DeJon Jarreau leads the team in assists (4.7/game).
ROAD WARRIORS
Mason is 5-1 on the road and 2-1 in neutral site contests this season. By contrast, the Patriots are just 6-5 inside EagleBank Arena. Mason is 2-1 on the road in league play and 1-3 at home. In road league games, the Patriots are shooting 46.4 percent from the floor, 35.3 percent from 3-point territory and 71.4 percent from the free throw line. In home league games, Mason is shooting 41.2 percent overall, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 63 percent from the free throw line.
